IMF Bentham is a publicly listed company on the Australian Securities Exchange (Code: IMF)

Established in 2001, we are one of the world’s most experienced and successful litigation funders. Our principal activities are the investigation, funding, and management of litigation claims.

IMF Bentham's business began in Australia, under the name 'IMF Australia'. We now offer our services in many jurisdictions, including the US, Canada, New Zealand, Hong Kong and Singapore. We have offices in all major capital cities in Australia, plus offices in the USA and Canada.

The name 'Bentham' remembers Jeremy Bentham, the nineteenth century jurist and social reformer who was among the first to support the value of litigation funding and its role in levelling the legal playing field between the poor and wealthy.
